20 Wrestlers Who Stole A Living From WWE

14. Rosa Mendes

WWE has had a terrible time in promoting their Divas Division. If you were to ask someone to name all of the women on the regular shows, most of them could answer with: The Bella twins, Paige, Natalya, Naomi, possibly Cameron, and Eva Marie. These names are most likely to get listed either because they appear regularly on the shows, or because they have some degree of fame/infamy to their name. Which would lead to someone asking the following question: Who is Rosa Mendes? With the exception of her appearance on Total Divas and her managing of lower card Superstars, Rosa does not have much to say about her WWE career, despite being employed with WWE since 2006. For most of her career she has been either working with other Divas in throwaway feuds or receiving the odd Divas Title shot. This, of course, begs the question, €˜why is she still here?€™ She seems to be comfortable as a manager, but this is the 2010s decade we€™re talking about: the only managers make sense are Paul Heyman and Lana; Heyman because he€™s the best talker in the company, and Lana because she€™s gorgeous and she fits with Rusev€™s gimmick. Rosa, on the other hand, has no defining feature other than being Latina. She didn€™t speak for Primo and Epico when she was managing them, nor was her interference in Fandango€™s match particularly memorable. If anything, she€™s just there for the sake of being there, which means she€™s taking up a valuable spot on the roster without contributing much to the greater success of the show.
