On the epic 1000th episode of Raw, CM Punk made a shocking heel turn when The Rock ran out to the ring to attack the Big Show. As Rock prepared to nail the People's Elbow, Punk clotheslined him and then hit him with the GTS, cementing a major turn for the character. There are few more effective ways for a wrestler to become a heel than to attack arguably the most popular, successful and charismatic superstar in WWE history, and Punk played it off superbly.
