Bret still gets a huge pop as he emerges, but the crowd signs seem to tell a different story. There's an absolute flood of pro-Austin signs, while Bret's lean towards abuse: "Crybaby", "Bret Who?", and "Bret Sucks" all make prominent appearances throughout the match. The most unnerving by far is "Screw Yourself, Bret", clearly written by some kind of time traveller. The Montreal Screwjob - and Vince's heartless assertion that "Bret screwed Bret" - wouldn't happen for another eight months or so.
