11. EC3 Orders Jeff To "End Spud's Career"...With A Twist of Fate?
One of the night's most nonsensical moments took place after EC3 scored a victory against Spud to retain his TNA World Title. EC3 then orders Tyrus to hold Spud up while he instructs Jeff Hardy to end Spud's career...by giving him a Twist of Fate. EC3 keeps barking the order at Jeff, and it makes less and less sense each time: why would a single or even several finishers from Jeff end Spud's career? He's executed the move on hundreds of opponents over the years and it's not ended a single career, so why Spud? The segment would've seemed less stupid if EC3 just grabbed a chair and told him to repeatedly hit Spud's leg or something, to give him an actual career-ending injury. Instead? It just goes to show that TNA may actually be booked by children, or at least people who know nothing about wrestling.
