23 WTF Moments From WWE RAW (July 13)

Cesaro and new Divas... Cesaro and new Divas... Cesaro and new Divas...

Brock Lesnar was once again scheduled for an appearance on RAW so expectations were understandably high for Monday night's event.

The Beast, who stole the show last week by dismantling J & J Security's brand new Cadillac, is now less than a week away from getting has hands on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. So there would undoubtedly be a few twists and turns as the night rolled on.

Seth looked to be heading into the lion's den, so to speak, with all the odds stacked against him after he and the rest of The Authority parted ways. However, The Architect got his 'family' back on side before treating them to gifts. And while Kane was on his holiday in Hawaii, Lesnar took advantage and get one up on the champ heading into the PPV week.

Triple H will have something up his sleeve, won't he?

The other main issues heading into RAW this week surrounded Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns, and just how down right disturbing The Buzzard could yet get.

On top of all that, the pending debut of Lana in a WWE ring seems to be edging ever closer. Surely RAW would tell us if the Ravishing Russian, who is expected to 'come out' as an all-American girl under her real name CJ Perry, would be taking on Summer Rae at Battleground.

As ever though, there were those moments that left us all scratching our heads and proclaiming WTF..

23. Paul's Right, Almost...

You can see what Paul Heyman was trying to do here, but as ever, we're here to set the record straight.

Heyman made a big deal about how the WWE Universe would be able to see Brock Lesnar as a challenger at a WWE PPV, rather than a Champion. The advocate would then go on to outline a couple of the more famous instances of where The Beast has walked into an event belt-less, before walking out with a strap over his shoulder. Heyman basically said that every time Brock has challenged for something, he has won it at the first time of asking.

This got us thinking, surely Paul tripped up here? Surely Brock has unsuccessfully challenged for a WWE Championship at least once?

Well, he did. SummerSlam 2003 saw Brock challenge then WWE Champion Kurt Angle for the title, only to lose the match via submission.

It goes without saying that we're nitpicking here, but someone's got to do it...
