25. Custody Of Dominick - SummerSlam 2005

There's no way to go wrong with Rey Mysterio versus Eddie Guerrero, and in fact, their ladder match at SummerSlam 2005 was every bit as good as one would expect -- it was the stipulation, however, which left a bit to be desired.

For months, Eddie had been taunting Rey, telling him that he knew a secret which would destroy his former friend. It turned out that Rey's son, Dominick, was actually fathered by Eddie and adopted by Rey, and now Eddie wanted him back -- just to be a jerk. This built up to a head at SummerSlam, where the two clashed in a ladder match with Dominick's custody papers -- not, say, the Intercontinental Title -- above the ring.

Again, the match was excellent, but even for WWE, it was a strange stipulation. Rey won ("...and STILL Dominick's father") when Eddie's wife, Vickie -- participating in her first storyline -- knocked Eddie off the later to make sure a wrong was righted.
