First up, we have tonight's NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day event that, despite a somewhat lacklustre build, looks set to deliver at least one Match of the Year contender between the NXT Championship and NXT Women's Championship matches alone.

Away from the not-so-developmental brand, the Elimination Chamber PPV has already had both of its titular matches booked. The blue brand saw most of the names in contention to challenge for Roman Reigns' Universal Championship on the same night (because Tribal Chief) qualify through tag matches, whereas Raw's chamber was simply thrown together based on the fact the batch of chosen stars all held a world title before (soz, Kofi). How are both of these shows written by the same people?

All of this pales in comparison to the real story of the week, however. That of an anti-hero turned icon. Of the saviour we needed, not the one we deserved. Of an apron meeting a hole.

Oh yes, we'll all forever remember where we were when we witnessed apron 3:16 whoop Nia Jax's ass and send the social media world into complete meltdown...
