Broken noses, possessed ring posts, and another unit split too soon... and that was just last night's Raw. We may not currently be blessed with a sell-out live audience each week (yet), but that hasn't stopped WWE from giving us stuff to talk about, for better or worse... primarily the latter.

As always, it's best not to get hung up on all things flagship, though, as Tuesday and Friday nights once again offered their fair share of moments that reminded you exactly why you bother tuning in each week. Karrion Kross dismantled a Prince and Cameron Grimes finally became the face we'd been longing for over on NXT. And SmackDown brought us the return of The Usos in tag team action, setting up a mouth-watering battle of the families over the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in a few days time.

Drew McIntyre also booked himself yet another shot at Bobby Lashley's WWE Championship on Raw, because who wanted to see something shiny and fresh like Kofi Kingston actually getting the title rematch he's 18 months overdue?

With the land of All Elite Wrestling highlighting just how much is added to a professional wrestling product with the reintroduction of a capacity crowd this past week, never has WWE felt as lifeless as it did in the last seven days. But will the promotion be given a vital shot in the arm as they take to the road again in the not too distant future? Or will the stench cooked up after a year of mostly mind-numbing booking quickly spoil the party as the WWE Universe makes their presence known again?

Those are questions for another day. For now, here's Shinsuke Nakamura being the king we deserve on Instagram...
