As the dust settles on perhaps one of the most anti-climactic big four PPVs ever to boast a WWE label, what were the key takeaways coming out of Survivor Series 2021?

The Tribal Chief is still the undisputed Head of Vince McMahon's Table.

The Man and The Queen still have it in them to be professional enough to slog it through an epic encounter.

And despite dedicating much of the show to the man himself and a film he is currently starring in, WWE still couldn't get The Rock to appear inside of Barclays Center. But no matter, we got a painfully delayed Easter Egg hunt instead.

In a development that would leave any reasonable human being scratching their heads and wondering what in the hell they'd missed, those sadly dedicated to Vinnie Mac's madness of recent times were likely not surprised to see Sunday and Monday's WWE offerings clogged up by a quest to discover who stole the boss' valuable, golden egg. Spoiler: It was Austin Theory and he was rewarded with a WWE title shot for his antics. Because WWE logic.

Acting as WWE's last big show of the year before Day One kicks off 2022 with a no doubt questionable bang, NXT 2.0 also spent some more time attempting to convince folks that WarGames won't be an all-out disaster. Seeing a bunch of relatively green newbies attempt to navigate the hellacious structure opposite a mis-match of black and gold veterans? They may have just sold us on an unlikely source of morbid entertainment, right there.
