Because the WWE is intent on making Rusev little more than a cringe-inducing Cold War relic (Vince, the Cold War's over!), it made sense that his elaborate entrance reflected that. It began with soldiers marching out to the ring with Lana while carrying the Russian flag, as cannons were stationed at the top of the stage. As some pyro from the cannons goes off, Rusev shows up...sat atop a tank. It pulls up to the side of the stage, Rusev climbs atop and waves his flag, and then walks to the ring. Talk about an entrance that went from totally lame to hilariously awesome in a few seconds...
