26 Times Wrestling Titles Have Been Disrespected

17. Harvey Wippleman Wins The WWF Women's Title

How do you give a shot of credibility to your women's division? Well you certainly don't get a male manager to dress up in drag and then win your Women's Championship. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened back in 2000.

At the time, The Kat was the WWF Women's Champion and had to defend her belt in a Lumberjill Snow Bunny match. Yeah, it was as bad as it sounds... although things would only get worse when a contestant by the name of Hervina took part in the bout. You guessed it, Hervina was Harvey Wippleman, former manager of the likes of Sid Justice, Kamala and Giant Gonzalez.

"Hervina" would somehow come out of the match as the winner, becoming the first man to win the Women's Championship. Luckily, an actually impressive female wrestler would cut Hervina's reign short at just 1 day when Jacqueline defeated the man-in-drag in less than a minute.

Fans and journalists often bring up how poorly the WWF/E treats their female wrestlers, and having Harvey Wippleman win the Women's Championship was a huge slap in the face to the belt and the division.
