6. Rusev Gets Booked To Lose 3 Consecutive PPV Matches
Further proof that WWE's booking is almost hilariously poor right now is in their treatment of Rusev. In a backstage segment, Lana informs him that he has been granted a third and apparently final match against John Cena, an I Quit match for the United States title at Payback in three weeks' time. Given that Cena has never lost an I Quit match before and almost certainly never will due to the nature of his "never back down" character, this signals a third consecutive loss for Rusev on PPV. Why is Vince deciding to bury Rusev so aggressively? It doesn't make any sense for these two to fight again. Cena doesn't need the rub and Rusev really doesn't need to job for three events in a row.
