2. The Blatantly Obvious Crowd Muting

When Roman Reigns finally defeated Taker, it was clear as day that the crowd had been mixed down in order to downplay how unpopular Reigns actually is.

WWE has been doing this a lot over the last year or so, and it's always immensely obvious. What, did they expect people to cheer him retiring one of the most iconic and beloved talents in the history of professional wrestling?

They need to lean into the boos and just turn the damn guy heel. Instead, the crowd response to Reigns' win sounded positively carefree, as though they had no strong feelings either way, even if it's clear simply from looking into the crowd that a lot of fans weren't happy.
