3 Major WWE SmackDown Matches Announced For Next Week
John Cena is back in action!
Hot off the heels of a couple of major episodes of Smackdown, the blue brand is following up with another. The January 10th episode looks to be stacked, with three matches already announced for the show.
The main event will feature John Cena's first TV match in more than three months when the 15-time world champion takes on Baron Corbin in singles action. The match was made as a result of the Cena-AJ Styles contract signing on this week's episode, which saw Corbin crash the confrontation to announce that he was going to participate in - and win - the Royal Rumble match.
Also announced for the show is a Smackdown Tag Team Championship match pitting American Alpha versus former champs The Wyatt Family. On the last Smackdown of 2016, American Alpha won the belts in a four-way match also featuring Rhyno and Heath Slater and The Usos. This week, the champs quickly defeated Breezango, but after the match, The Wyatts issued a rematch challenge via video.
Finally, Nikki Bella will take on Natalya in a singles match. At TLC, Carmella told Bella that Natalya was the perpetrator of the attack on her at the Survivor Series, and in the weeks following, Natalya admitted it was the truth. Since then, the women have traded some very pointed insults.
