Last night's WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view saw three title changes, including one championship changes hands more than once, as new United States and SmackDown Women's champions were crowned.

On a show many expected to be short on gold changing hands, the shocks started early as Rey Mysterio defeated Samoa Joe to become US Champ in the first title match of the evening.

The victory came out of nowhere and wasn't without controversy; early in the match Mysterio reversed Joe's powerbomb into a hurricanrana pinfall and despite The Samoan Submission Machine having a shoulder off the mat, the referee counted to three and The Ultimate Underdog won the belt before a post-match beatdown by an irate Samoa Joe.

The most incredible championship change centred around the SmackDown Women's Championship which would be wrapped around two new waists in a matter of minutes.

Following a successful defence of her Raw Women's Championship against Lacey Evans, Becky Lynch lost the blue brand's belt to Charlotte Flair after a disgruntled Evans interfered in the match and blasted Becky with the Women's Right, allowing Flair to defeat her via of a big boot.

Nevertheless, before The Queen had a chance to celebrate with her newly won prize, the freshly-crowned 'Miss Money in the Bank' Bayley would save Lynch from a two-on-one beatdown from Flair & Evans, cash-in her title opportunity, and pin Charlotte courtesy of a top rope elbow drop in the ensuing melee to become the new SmackDown Women's champion.

Money in the Bank also saw title defences from the likes of Tony Nese, Seth Rollins & Kofi Kingston, although the latter duo won't be sleeping easy after it emerged that Brock Lesnar is the new Mr Money in the Bank.
