A trio of title changes went down on WrestleMania 37's second night, with the most notable of these being Rhea Ripley's WWE Raw Women's Title victory over Asuka.

Though their clash was somewhat marred by the muted crowd (which was likely down to the bout's lacklustre pre-'Mania build), the bruising back-and-forth affair closed with Ripley nailing Asuka with the Riptide, ending her eight-month reign on top.

The victory will serve as redemption for Rhea, who was disappointingly beaten by Charlotte Flair for the NXT Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36.

Elsewhere, Apollo Crews became Intercontinental Champion for the first time by felling Big E in their Nigerian Drum Match. This was a consequence of Dabba-Kato's interference, with the rebranded former Raw Underground man clobbering E to cement his return and repackaging.

Another midcard championship changed hands as Sheamus took the United States Title from Riddle. A just reward for one of WWE's standout in-ring performers of 2021, with Sheamus taking the victory after sending Riddle to the shadow realm via Brogue Kick.

The night's other title matches saw Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax retain the Women's Tag Team Titles over Natalya and Tamina, and Universal Champion Roman Reigns beat Edge and Daniel Bryan in the night's main event.
