Hikaru Shida was an MVP for Tony Khan on Friday's episode of Rampage. She teamed with Kris Statlander in the main event, and the results were pleasing. Maybe, if AEW ever gets around to creating Women's Tag-Team Titles, both could play a huge role in that. For now, Shida has Saraya in her sights.

One has to measure expectations when tuning into Rampage in late-2023. The days of CM Punk using it as a platform for epic comebacks are very-much over. That was then, and this is now - the 'C' show (and it assuredly is that) has settled behind Dynamite and Collision as background fare.

This week, more multi-wrestler brawls broke out, referees remained useless, pic-in-pic ad breaks knackered several matches, and Ortiz cut a promo he can be proud of. That's one of those stories "struggling for air time on the two top shows".
