1. Contradicting The Gimmick
Hmm.
The dude penning this still isn't sold on Daniel Garcia as part of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Recent reports claimed he was originally supposed to be in the Blackpool Combat Club alongside William Regal, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta. That would've been a better fit for him.
Garcia was almost surgical when taking Eddie Kingston apart on Rampage, and he's such a technical worker that calling him a "sports entertainer" is weird. Sure, that's the gag, but it's falling flat for this fan. Dan's presentation is all over the shop.
AEW can't expect fans to giggle along with the WWE jibes about "sports entertainment" then get serious with Garcia during rugged matches. That's messy, and it won't work long-term. He'll either need to change up his style or the JAS will have to ditch the comedy.
