3. Velveteen Dream Vs Cezar Bononi

The Dream hasn't looked very promising so far and Bononi is painfully normal, right down to his genero-rock music. The match itself was mostly punches and kicks, with the most striking element being how ripped both men were. It was very much a battle of two gorgeously-sculpted torsos.

Velveteen Dream's rolling Death Valley Driver, on the other hand, was beautiful, and most importantly the Full Sail crowd loved his obnoxious swagger and his gyrations on the top rope before delivering his Purple Rainmaker elbow. While the match wasn't anything much, it gets a tick in the right column by getting the crowd behind the Dream.

His catty promo afterwards had a lot more punch behind it as well, and his character played a much better in front of a live audience than backstage. The Velveteen Dream still isn't hugely promising, but this showing suggested there is something to be built on, at least.
