4. Comedy Falls Flat
Urgh.
Robert Stone is at his best when he's a delusional heel pest who occasionally comes through for his clients by bagging them title shots or other opportunities. Those little crumbs of comfort make him a solid manager, so why did someone believe ye olde karaoke guff was the way to go with him?
Last week, Xyon Quinn slammed Stone through a table during Halloween Havoc's backstage party. Not only did that insert never need to turn into a feud, it defo didn't need to become more goofy "comedy". NXT 2.0 has far too much of this whimsical bullsh*t, so nothing really stands out from anything else.
Worse, Quinn barely looked like the promising bad ass he's supposed to be when he inevitably hammered Robert and posed. The result was a segment that took way too long to get to the point and didn't even accomplish what WWE surely wanted it to (to make Xyon look dominant).
