3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 29)
2. This Week’s Teased Split
Here we go again, lads.
Jinder berated his big mate post-match, then Shanky stormed off looking annoyed with his tag partner/rapping pal/leader (?). WWE did this with Los Lotharios pair Angel and Humberto a while back - that didn't lead to anything, and this probably won't either.
WWE need to stop, think and realise that relying on splits is lazy when fans don't care about the acts teasing them. It might hurt the Mahal/Shanky Fan Club to hear, but neither man is over whatsoever, and so people in Albany couldn't be expected to react when they're having a tiff.
Such dissension came out of nowhere too, which isn't good. Jinder is upset at Shanky for losing an Intercontinental Title match when he's never been in a spot that lofty before? Christ, how unrealistic are those expectations, Mr. Mahal?
