Anyone who reads these articles frequently will know that this writer has been iffy on the mini-feud between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn. That's not a reflection on the workers themselves (they're both awesome), but creative just booked the same thing over and over without moving their rivalry forwards.

Then, BOOM! This week.

The steel cage situation Zayn found himself in with Drew was a nifty end to their program. McIntyre's superplex from the top rope looked huge, and he showed ace intensity throughout. Of course, the trick will be keeping that momentum purring along into an Undisputed WWE Universal Title challenger, but the Scot is back on top.

It's a credit to McIntyre that he didn't let anaemic feuds vs. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss kill his passion or enthusiasm. The big man has brave-faced his way through some poor booking, and has come out smiling on the other end. Go check this steel cage effort out - it's worth your time.
