It's been highlighted before that only one traditional singles match took place on what was at one point the most profitable pay-per-view in company history - not badly booked for a man that openly hates tag team wrestling. Watching this show in one go will move you to side with Vince McMahon.

Al Snow, Steve Blackman, Test, Albert and Trish Stratus tried and failed to make the most of their WrestleMania minutes, but the contest reflected yet another utterly pointless match booked only to pad out the card rather than make the most of the fact that virtually every performer on the roster was more over than they'd ever been.

It was that sudden popularity that birthed ideas like T&A in the first place, not least the inclusion of comedy mascot Chester McCheeserton. By 2000, the world had told WWE they could do what the f*ck they wanted - it took years for this sh*t to chase the mainstream away again.
