1. Elias’ Face Turn Continues

It’s pretty safe to call Elias a face these days. Blasting Baron Corbin with a guitar did the trick, but he continues to take steps to further ingratiate himself as a good guy on Raw.

During Starrcade, Elias came out for a concert, and he was joined by Ric Flair, who said he “was dying to walk with Elias.” Flair came out to jam with the troubadour, but Nia Jax and her team came out to join (and ruin) the fun. Jax shrieked into the mic, ending a song prematurely, and then told the crowd that she was offered a record deal but turned it down to come to WWE.

Since it isn’t the Attitude Era anymore, Elias noted that he and Flair couldn’t do anything to stop the four women, but he called on some friends to shut them up, leading to the opening eight-woman tag match. It was a nice, simple, fun little segment that gave Elias a little shine by sharing the ring with the Nature Boy, and that’s good enough for us.
