The next match that was supposed to take place was Carmella versus Natalya. At TLC, Nikki Bella scored a huge win over Carmella, but after the bout, "The Princess of Staten Island" told Bella that Natalya was the culprit of the attack on her at Survivor Series.

Before Natalya came out, Carmella doubled down on her claims. She called Natalya a jealous "Tonya Harding" wannabe who attacked Bella out of her fear of irrelevance. Needless to say, that didn't sit well with Nattie, who came out and tackled Carmella. The two traded punches and Carmella ran out of the ring and to the back. Nattie gave chase.

Had the segment ended there, I might have been tempted to give it a thumbs up - Carmella's a pretty underrated promo. Backstage, though, Natalya was still looking for Carmella when she came across Nikki Bella. Out of breath, Nattie weakly asserted her innocence, and Bella stormed off. Unless she was going to look for Carmella and get the real story, that makes no sense. Even if she was, it could have been handled better.
