3 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Dec 6)

Just when you thought this episode of Smackdown couldn't get any more pointless, we cut to earlier in the day, when Breezango - the so-called "fashion police" of WWE - gave American Alpha tickets for not dressing well, or something. For some reason, instead of settling their issues in a tag match, the result was a one-on-one bout between Chad Gable and Tyler Breeze.

Breeze got the heat on Gable almost immediately when Fandango got involved, but the former Olympian made a comeback with an exploder suplex. After that, he hit a few great-looking moves and then, while Jason Jordan took Fandango out with a belly to belly suplex on the outside, Gable put Breeze away with a German suplex.

There's no doubt that these guys could have a fine match given the time, but that wasn't the goal here. I'm not really sure what the goal was. Unfortunately, though, it seems like we're going to have a tag match before this program continues. Hopefully, that gets more than two minutes.
