Chris Jericho has had a strange year. It began with a feud with AJ Styles, a man Jericho would defeat at WrestleMania leaving many fans scratching their heads. Jericho then transitioned into a feud with Dean Ambrose that was frankly underwhelming, ending with an Ambrose Asylum match that simply went on too long.
The finish of the match was thrilling however, as Jericho found himself planted onto a bed of thumb tacks. Taking a bump of that sort of impressive regardless of your position on the bill, but a veteran like Jericho doing so in order to help get over a young talent was another notch on Y2J's belt.
