How Sandman managed to get hired by WWE and stay they for more than a week without being fired astounded and amazed throughout 2006 and 2007. Entering the 2007 Royal Rumble at #15, the ECW Original survived for thirteen seconds - approximately the same length of time that he has been sober for in the last twenty years (allegedly - Ed.) - before King Booker sent him packing. Sandman didn't care; less ring time meant more beer time.
