Big John Tenta had a very respectable run in the WWF between 1989-94, after transitioning from Sumo Wrestling. Featuring as an old-school monster heel, Tenta feuded with Hulk Hogan and Jake Roberts, before entering into the very successful Natural Disasters tag-team with Typhoon (who features later in this list), where he picked up most of his wins.

Tragically, Tenta died from metastasized bladder cancer in 2006, aged 42.
