Michael Cole committed a classic WWE sin during the pre-show match, saying, "Not only a tremendous amount of sports history in Houston, John, but a tremendous amount of wrestling history as well." Every WWE fan knows that Vince McMahon hates it when the word "wrestling" is used rather than "sports entertainment" because of the negative stigma against the word "wrestling", and how much effort the company has taken to steer clear of it as a result. As soon as Cole said it, Vince was no doubt screaming into his earpiece and destroying furniture backstage. At least it wasn't on the proper PPV, though, so maybe Cole just about got away with it...
