8. Shane Gets Knocked Goofy

One has to feel for the referee in charge of the main Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown match, that bout was wall-to-wall chaos. Still, it was inexplicable when the official failed to count Shane McMahon out following a titanic Roman Reigns Spear.

Leaping from the top rope, McMahon was caught with the move in mid-air. Clearly, Shane's head smashed against the mat, leaving him glassy-eyed and seeing stars.

The ref should have just counted the pin, rather than getting all pernickety over Shane's shoulder being an inch or so off the canvas. Those watching were never clued in as to why McMahon was eliminated, Reigns didn't beat him by pinfall.

What was up with these referees not calling for the bell?
