32. The Pope References The Konami Code (And Gets It Wrong)
During the opening bout between Manik, DJ Z and Tiger Uno, The Pope says, "The last time Pope saw action this fast, I had to press Up, Down, Up, Down, A, B, A, B, Left, Right, Left, Right", an obvious reference to the iconic "Konami Code", a cheat code used in a multitude of Konami video games over the years. The problem? Pope got it wrong. The code is actually "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A", so if he's going to drop a gaming reference into the commentary in the future, he might want to do his homework.
