"Fan" Attacks MJF & Wardlow During AEW Dynamite
An unknown assailant ambushed the duo as the show closed, but was he a plant?
MJF and Wardlow appeared to be attacked by a fan while standing in the crowd at the end of last night's AEW Dynamite, having fled the ring after 'The Salt of the Earth's' brutal belt-lashing segment with Cody.
The duo were standing atop a staircase when an unknown beanie-clad assailant got in their faces. The cameras cut away and the announcers were caught off-guard, though the feed soon returned to the sight of MJF and Wardlow administering what looked like a very, very worked beatdown.

The current working theory is that this "fan" was, indeed, a plant, with Cageseat Seats' daily Rumor Roundup column pinpointing SoCal Uncensored's Frankie Kazarian as the potential perpetrator. Looking at the gif, it looks like he hasn't even changed out of his ring gear.
Regardless, an effective way to sell what was an uncomfortable lashing segment with Cody, MJF, and pretty much the entire AEW roster, who poured out from the back as the fan favourite was taking a beating. It won't be to everyone's taste, but the angle got over huge. Who wouldn't want to see MJF getting his *ss kicked after watching that?!
