Even though John Cena beat Owens, Owens arguably got the last laugh when Cena extended his hand as a show of sportsmanship. Owens initially shook it, but then kicked Cena in the stomach and Powerbombed him into the side of the ring, before taking Cena's United States Title and disappearing off into the night, cackling maniacally to himself as he did so. This was a solid way to give Owens an edge and ensure he didn't look weak in defeat, even if it's also inevitably setting up a rubber match, probably for SummerSlam, where Cena will do just as he did with Rusev and needlessly bury another talent.
