The night kicked off with an odd result right out of the gate, as R-Truth actually defeated King Barrett, again making fans wonder exactly what the hell the WWE's booking team are thinking. Talented though Truth is, let's face it, he's basically a joke in terms of serious career progression, whereas Barrett actually has promise as a future WWE Heavyweight Title contender, and so it doesn't make any sense at all to have him job like this, on a pre-show match no less. After all, why even have Barrett win King of the Ring if he's going to lose so many matches since? WWE's logic at its finest, folks.
