WWE crowned a total of four new champions at last night's SummerSlam 2021 pay-per-view, highlighted by both of the company's top Women's Championships changing hands.

As covered earlier, the SmackDown belt went first, with Becky Lynch mounting a surprising WWE comeback to shock and awe Bianca Belair, whose original opponent, Sasha Banks, wasn't cleared to compete. It took Becky just 25 seconds to put Belair away.

Later, Charlotte Flair became Raw Women's Champion in a Triple Threat with Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. With Ripley neutralised on the outside after eating an A.S.H. DDT, Nikki missed an attempted flying cross body on Flair, leading to Charlotte locking in the Figure Eight for the victory.

Elsewhere, Damian Priest pinned Sheamus to win his first main roster title, becoming the new United States Champion after putting the Irishman away with the Reckoning. This was the night's second title change, as Riddle and Randy Orton had already defeated Omos and AJ Styles to become Raw Tag Team Champions.

The night's other title fights saw The Usos defend their SmackDown tag straps against The Mysterios, Bobby Lashley defend the WWE Title against Goldberg, and Roman Reigns defeat John Cena to keep hold of the Universal Championship.
