Fresh off a huge PROGRESS clash with longstanding friend-turned enemy Mark Andrews, Eddie Dennis has found his decision to leave a full-time Headmaster role to chase a pro wrestling dream seemingly work out for the best.

A brief-but-enjoyable introductory vignette here showcased Dennis' tenure in the industry without touching on teaching or the brutal turn on Andrews that predicated their Wembley dust-up just a few weeks ago.

This was smartly handled by WWE - they'll have been acutely aware of the audience tuning into this show and their likely knowledge of Dennis' presence in British wrestling, but merely teasing all of that with Eddie's cold "I've got some stories" line left lots to dive into before he even has to wrestle. For a show light on character work, this was a refreshing accoutrement.
