2. Not What People Wanted To Hear

Chris Jericho announced during a quick backstage promo that he's stepping down from commentary duties on Rampage to bag more TV time on Dynamite and Collision. Boy, that'll please folks who are sick of Jericho, eh? Seriously though, the bad outweighs the good on this occasion.

Taking Jericho off comms is a plus, because he was always too busy talking about himself and his own storylines during random matches. Besides, Matt Menard (his obvious replacement) is much better behind the desk than the former 'Y2J'. He deserves the chance to do commentary on a more regular basis as a full time member of the crew.

What about this 'Learning Tree' stuff then? Well, anyone hoping AEW would lessen Jericho's airtime is about to be severely disappointed. If anything, it sounds like he, Big Bill and new recruit Bryan Keith are about to hog more minutes on the bigger shows. That is...not what All Elite needs in June 2024.

Adding Keith has already diluted a promising heater dynamic between Jericho and Bill too.
