4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage: Road Rager (June 17)

Ups...

4. Jade Cargill’s Notable Improvement

AEW

AEW's post-match saddled the women with more messy run-in b*llocks, but the actual match between Jade Cargill and Willow Nightingale was perfectly fine. Jade is showing real signs of improvement every time she steps between the ropes, and Willow got enough in to ensure this wasn't a squash.

Good, 'cause Nightingale deserves better than that.

It's probably shouldn't have been a title bout, but that's been covered in the 'Downs'. This was a fun little TV match that didn't overstay its welcome but also gave fans enough of a reason to care about the beaten wrestler. All Elite chiefs can consider that a win all-round.

Jade looks more comfortable in back-and-forth matches than she did a few months back too. That's a sure sign she's improving, and it means her next major pay-per-view collision should be her best yet. Fingers crossed that's against Athena.
