4. Bloodline 2.0 Continues To Underwhelm
The longer this new version of the Bloodline continues to roll out, the more confusing and underwhelming it feels.
Jimmy and Jey Uso are shadows of their former selves, while Jacob Fatu has cooled off considerably during the past few months, going from a rebel to falling in line without a peep. The three of them are only seen briefly with Roman Reigns, being mostly siloed off in a feud with the makeshift trio of LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys… who they lost to on Saturday.
The six-man tag match was average at best, with middling action and a few decent highlights, but the only things that will be remembered from this portion of the PLE will be Solo (more on him later), Keys powerslamming Fatu over the barricade, and Knight spiking Jey on top of his head with a BFT. The bulk of the match was forgettable house show fodder.
Maybe there’s a reason why the Bloodline B-Team seems stuck in neutral, and things will start kicking into gear, but the longer they spin their collective wheels, the more this part of the faction resembles the nWo’s fabled black-and-white scrubs.
