Not our words, but those of 'The Hitman' himself after a chronic encounter with Bob Backlund sh*t up the middle of a North East WrestleMania already going south.

Bret classified the contest as such in an autobiography that glowed more than his hot pink attire - page after page of worthy self-aggrandising undone by a critique of this 'I Quit' sh*tshow stewarded by the bothersome Roddy Piper as guest referee.

The 'Hot Scot' had slapped the mat to award Bret his second WWE Title one year earlier - this year he barely even registered Backlund's submission as this clunker mercifully came to a close.
