Ups…

AEW

It was when MJF threatened to give Danielson's kids the gift of their Dad having "early onset CTE" that the 'American Dragon' finally snapped and an incredible fight to conclude the pair's penultimate segment before Revolution.

This ruled really, really hard.

Entering the glittering pantheon of awesome AEW pull-aparts, this was brutally intense and constantly captivating. The cameras couldn't guide the viewer where to look, such was the amount of movement from the warring sides. Danielson breaking free and clattering MJF's skull with one of the best worked forearms in recent memories was enough to set the goons back on both men, and the whole segment couldn't have ended hotter.

The talking segment wasn't bad at all, but the standards of both have raised expectations beyond that. The physicality flew beyond what might have been assumed of their chemistry, and was an absolutely tantalising glimpse of what AEW are going to dish out for 60 absorbing minutes on March 5th. In that respect, there couldn't have been a better sales pitch for the big show.
