Britt Baker as the new AEW Women's Champion is exciting. She represents a bold new promo-led direction for the division after a year under Hikaru Shida, and it's obvious that Britt's confidence has gone through the roof since the internet got all moist about her bloody battle with Thunder Rosa.

Nyla Rose is a step backwards.

Sorry, but it's true. Rose getting back into the Women's Title hunt is rather boring. The division has blatantly moved on since Nyla was holding the gold proudly above her head, and she doesn't seem like the most inspiring of first hurdles for new champ Baker either.

It'll take much more than tossing some cheeseburgers around (and getting some on poor Tony Schiavone) before anyone cares about this feud. Nyla looked more like a stroppy teenager who wants attention than a credible monster who could take the belt.
