4. Nobody Wins

Epic moan about a Zelina Vega win yours truly was previously begging for upcoming.

Sometimes, this writer feels like a spoiled child. 'Booooo, *insert wrestler here that he likes* didn't win a match. Booooooo!'. That sort of thing. However, wins and losses become more important when there's some meaning behind them, or it's abundantly clear that wrestlers have some momentum behind them.

Funny thing, that momentum - it only seems to work when booking is consistent. On SmackDown, Vega picked up a cheap win over Liv Morgan thanks to Carmella's distraction at ringside. Who really won here though? Certainly not Morgan, and definitely not 'Mella. Now, assuming Liv beats her foe at Extreme Rules, they'll both be back to square one.

Treading water isn't great, but that's what's happening. WWE allowed Zelina to look like an afterthought as soon as she returned to the promotion, and now she's beating popular babyfaces days before they wrestle big pay-per-view bouts for no reason at all.
