Freed at least from the shackles of the Playboy magazine deal and ostensibly keen to wash away the stench of the Miss WrestleMania omnishambles a year earlier, WWE still only allocated four minutes to ten women, and Jerry Lawler's lechery on commentary didn't help the continued search for credibility.

An underrated selection of performers were thus grossly undermined - Lay-Cool, Maryse, Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, Mickie James and the hugely over Vickie Guerrero all fought uphill battles trying to transform such deeply embedded stereotypes.

Playing her part magnificently, Guerrero's physical comeuppance escapes from the babyface side were genuine highlights, but the finish was not. A botched "Hog Splash" wasn't the tender tribute to her late husband Eddie she perhaps imagined.
