7. An Unnecessary Speed Bump
All Out is supposed to be a big time pay-per-view on the AEW calendar, right? So, why did they book a throwaway eight-man tag-team effort on the show then line up a title match for Wednesday's episode of Dynamite? Post-win, Tony Schiavone told Dustin Rhodes that he'd be battling Brodie Lee mid-week.
This show could've done with that.
AEW could've saved another job for The Dark Order by ditching the eight-man and putting Dustin vs. Brodie on the card in its place. That would've made sense, because Rhodes is trying to avenge his younger brother Cody, and it would've given Lee some purpose instead of playing angry leader again.
It's like Brodie is busy looking after a bunch of rowdy kids rather than leading some eerie faction into battle and dominating the AEW landscape. As solid as the eight-man was, All Out didn't need it - Wednesday's match is bigger.
