It's all too easy to draw comparisons between 2002's 'Show Of Shows' and the greatest show it had to follow a year earlier, but the sad state of the tag team division just 12 months on betrayed the huge influx of talent that came in when WWE swallowed up WCW.

A fatal four way brought The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz back together, but The APA and Champions Billy & Chuck couldn't quite help them replicate some TLC-level excitement.

Elimination rules should have enhanced the drama but instead insulated it - an already-bored audience weren't a*sed until the final fall, and even then didn't particularly stir for the heels' retention.
