Aside from its Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar Hell in a Cell rematch, there wasn't a lot to be hyped about for 2015's HIAC pay-per-view event. With too many rematches and seemingly too many predictable results, it was hard to be that excited, but in fairness, the show was relatively solid wrestling-wise, even if it didn't do anything incredibly well nor prove particularly memorable in terms of quality matches. Yes, there weren't any significant swerves and it was probably the company's most predictable show all year, but it still had its share of eye-opening moments, from some of the year's worst commentary, to outrageous signs, a shock return, and one of the most unfortunate spots from a women's match in quite some time. And ultimately, it does what any PPV should do: it leaves us intrigued for Raw and for the WWE's next event, Survivor Series on November 22nd. 40. WWE 2K16 Gameplay Is Used For Promos
The HIAC pre-show gets off to a hilariously goofy start by running down the card, with matches being accompanied by footage from the WWE 2K16 video game, which of course hits stores next week. Even ignoring how weird it is for a PPV to be sponsored by a video game based on itself, who honestly thought that fans wanted to see a video game representation of what we're going to see later on, especially considering how underwhelming and dated 2K16's graphics look? It's a bad choice that's going to make this show look especially dated for whoever checks it out on the Network in a few years time.
