Ambrose brought it right back to Owens a few moments later, however, when Owens placed Ambrose on a bunch of steel chairs in the ring and was about to attempt what appeared to be a moonsault. However, Ambrose managed to recover at the last possible moment and shove Owens off the top rope, sending him flipping into a table that had been strategically set-up outside the ring. In this instance, however, Owens is unable to answer the 10-count, allowing Ambrose to retain his Intercontinental Title in a rock-solid opening bout.
