5 AEW Stars Who Could Dethrone Jade Cargill As TBS Champion

Who could end up dethroning That Bitch?

TBS Champion Jade Cargill is an unstoppable force in AEW, and while there's no shortage of viable challengers in the company, it doesn't appear as if anyone is truly ready to step up to That Bitch.

Ever since defeating Ruby Soho in the finals of the tournament to crown the promotion's inaugural TBS Champion, Cargill has been absolutely dominant over any and all challengers who have stepped up to her.

Amongst those to fall at the feet of the powerhouse, Jade's ten successful TBS Title defences so far have included wins over the likes of Tay Conti, Anna Jay (twice!), Julia Hart, Marina Shafir and, most recently, a victory over veteran five-time Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne at Quake by the Lake on the 8/10 episode of AEW Dynamite.

When it comes to who could possibly dethrone Cargill as TBS Champion and bring an end to her unblemished record, there's a few notable top contenders, and even some former AEW Women's Champions, who haven't yet squared off with Jade.

With that in mind, then, here are five potential candidates to finally bring Jade Cargill's reign of dominance to an end.

5. Serena Deeb

First up on the list is former NWA Women's Worlds Champion, Serena Deeb.

The Professor is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world and has proven as much in several different companies, most notably in the NWA and nowadays in AEW.

A one-time member of CM Punk's Straight-Edge Society during her tenure with WWE, Deeb boasts one of the most impressive records in the AEW women's ranks. As of this writing, Serena holds a 37-1 singles record and her only losses have come against Thunder Rosa, Riho and Hikaru Shida - three women who have all held the AEW Women's Title.

In terms of title challengers, the Virginia native most recently found herself butting heads with ROH Women's Champion Mercedes Martinez at Death Before Dishonor last month. While she came up short in that bout, Serena put on another stellar showing that again highlighted why she's truly one of the best in the world.

Working with a wily veteran like Serena Deeb could do wonders for the in-ring work of relative-rookie Jade Cargill, and Deeb might even have a shot at being the one to take Cargill's TBS Title.
